The Registered Nurse (RN) provides skilled nursing care in accordance with the patient’s plan of treatment, including comprehensive health and psychosocial evaluation, monitoring of the patient’s condition, health promotion and prevention, coordination of service, teaching and training activities, provision of direct nursing care and planning for patient’s needs or service requests.  The RN works under the supervision of the Director of Clinical/Professional Services and exercises supervision of assigned certified nursing aids.

• Problem identifications and goal setting
• Initiation of plan of care and coordination of services
• Teaches, supervises, and counsels the patient and family members regarding disease process
